4-H & Youth Development

What is 4-H?

4-H is the nation's largest youth development organization. 4-H is a community of six million young people across America learning leadership, citizenship, and life skills.

The Fort Valley State University Cooperative Extension 4-H Youth Development Program components are Clover Sprout (K - 4th), Cloverleaf (5th - 6th), Junior (7th - 8th), and Senior (9th - 12th).

The 4-Hs

Head, Heart, Hands, and Health are the four Hs in 4-H, and they are the four values members work on through fun and engaging programs.
