- Isolating plasmid DNA from the bacteria broth
- Conducting gel electrophoresis to determine the presence and size of DNA fragments
- Sterilization and cleaning of laboratory equipment
- Maintaining lab inventory
- Collection of the samples
- Collecting experimental data and summarize it for statistical analysis
