The Infant and Child Development program is designed to equip teachers of young children with the fundamental views and skills needed to effectively nurture the development of young minds.

Infant and Child Development is the study of young children from conception to adulthood. The program focuses primarily on the crucial early childhood years, a very special age span in human development. Courses offered will aid students in developing a personal philosophy on how children learn and why they behave as they do.

Admission Requirements

To be admitted to the university high school students must have a GPA of 2.25 as well as an SAT score of 430 on Critical Thinking/Verbal and 400 on Math or an ACT score of 17 on English and 17 on Math.
