Fort Valley State, University of Georgia Extension to co-host virtual workshop

Fort Valley State University and the University of Georgia Cooperative Extension programs will co-host a free virtual estate planning workshop on Tuesday, Sept. 22, from noon to 1:30 p.m. Space is limited, so please preregister by Sept. 15 at fvsu.ag/gafits20260922.

The Building a Lasting Legacy for Generations workshop is part of the Georgia Farmer’s Initiative for Training and Sustainability program. The GA-FITS program is a collaboration between FVSU and UGA’s Cooperative Extension programs. It focuses on educational workshops about estate planning and helping landowners, farmers and homeowners with sustainability and training initiatives.

Jon Donsbach of Donsbach Law Group LLC is the featured speaker. Topics of discussion include What is a Last Will and Testament?, Power of Attorney, and How to Avoid Costly Estate Planning Fees.
