Life On The Farm

Life on the Farm (LOTF) coordinator, Chris Sanders, standing with a cow and a goat in front of the LOTF trailer.

This mobile exhibit travels around Georgia educating the public, especially children, about where food comes from, farming practices and agricultural related careers. Participants also learn about proper animal care. Millions of Georgians have benefitted from this program, and so can your school, library, church or nonprofit organization.

Life on the farm is not a petting zoo, but an educational exhibit. Participants can touch the animals, which may include cows, sheep, chickens or goats. The animals are brought to your location on a livestock trailer. The only things needed are:

  • Water hose hookup
  • Outdoor or indoor space for the exhibit to be set up
