One Major, Two Concentrations
The Department of Family and Consumer Sciences offers one degree, a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Consumer Sciences, with two concentrations – Food and Nutrition and Infant and Child Development. The Department is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences.

Food and Nutrition
The food and nutrition program equips graduates to become ambassadors of health and wellness for individuals, families and communities through a comprehensive curriculum.
Infant and Child Development
The Infant and Child Development program is designed to equip teachers of young children with the fundamental views and skills needed to effectively nurture the development of young minds.
